SOFT AND PRESSURE WASHING SERVICE
Most people always keep themselves busy cleaning inside the house, but what about the outside look? Do you want to increase dirt around your property?
By using soft washing and pressure washing, you can clean outside your home, and these two are considered types of power washing. For any standard cleaning of house, deck, or property, soft washing is an excellent option. But you need to switch to a pressure washer if you cannot remove any trouble spot. Most importantly, you need to have excellent knowledge for doing these kinds of jobs, or there is a high chance you can damage anything.
So it will be a wise decision if you hand over your property to any professional service hand who knows how to deal with them.
How Pressure Washing Works
With a pressure washer, you can direct highly-compressed water at a surface to blast away all contaminants, and it also has different strength ratings given in pounds per square inch (PSI).
Pressure washing is one of the best products for removing loose paint or stains from surfaces. You need to be careful while working with this tool. Because all surfaces are not the same and need to apply a different amount of force. For example, wood is softer than concrete so you cannot use the same PSI.
Uses of Pressure Washer:
- Removing loose paint or stain from wooden or aluminum siding.
- To prepare a deck for staining.
- Best for washing concrete, pavement, and similar hard surfaces.
How Soft Washing Works:
Soft washing is mainly a lower pressure wash and allows to remove contaminants without harming the surface. By using a soft washer, you can easily remove mold, algae, mildew, dirt, and other contaminants from a surface.
Uses of Soft Washing:
- It is for cedar shake siding, wood panel siding, and any soft siding materials.
- To wash fresh concrete.
- For mold, algae, mildew, dirt, and other surfaces.
- Best for cleaning outdoor wood furniture, rooted plants, screens, enclosures, and also for cleaning a roof or a deck.
When Will I Know When I Need to take a house cleaning service?
- More dirt on the northern side of your home. Hints of black mold or algae growth.
- Discoloration of siding, stone landscaping, asphalt, and brick means you need a pressure washing house.
- Too much dust and dirt coating outside of the house is another reason.
- If you see dark gray or black streaks on the roof it is a sign of growing algae.

What is the Difference Between Pressure and Power Wash
One of the key differences you will find between power washing and pressure washing is the heat. For jet wash you need to use heated water for the power washer, but for a pressure washer, you don’t need to use heated water.
The advantage of a power washer’s heated water is it can easily remove serious grime like mildew, salt, and grease but not possible with pressure water.
Where surfaces are heavily soiled, such as concrete or cement, you will need warmer spray, which a pressure washer can do perfectly.
What is Better? Gas or Electric Pressure?
Gas models are famous for cleaning faster due to much higher pressure and flow and can handle tasks like cleaning heavy concrete. Electric models are smaller and have half the weight of a gas machine but are easy to start and shut down. There is no reason to worry about pump damage from extended idling, so it is perfect for use indoors.
Is Pressure Washing Bad for Concrete?
The answer is yes. A pressure washer is not suitable for concrete surfaces. However, if you are not careful when operating even a light-duty power washer where the water pressure is high it can leave visible damage.
